COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course has been developed to provide delegates with the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills of distal limb ultrasound image acquisition and interpretation. It is suitable for vets from mixed or equine practice who are keen to further develop their equine ultrasonography expertise, be it as a new graduate or as a vet who has some experience with ultrasonography. This course covers the following topics:
Basics of ultrasonography, including how to set up your machine to achieve highest quality images
The normal ultrasonographic anatomy and appearance of conditions affecting the

Flexor tendons
o
Suspensory ligament
o
Digital flexor tendon sheath & Palmar/plantar annular ligament

Pastern region
